The Misalignment

The misalignment is located in the upper cervical spine, which consists of the top two bones in the neck called the Atlas and Axis. When one or both of these bones are misaligned, it results in pressure on the brainstem, interfering with your brain’s ability to communicate through your nerves to the rest of your body. When this happens, it is called a subluxation. Every single nerve to your body originates at the brainstem, so when there is a problem here, the body loses its ability to fully function and heal. It is our job as upper cervical chiropractors to detect and correct this misalignment, helping to restore the functioning and healing signals to your body.
